Requirements for nuclear motor bearings: The fan bearings are installed vertically, and can operate normally under ambient temperatures of 38 ℃ to 82 ℃. They will not be damaged, greased, or maintained within 2 years. Considering the risk of nuclear pollution, replacement, and repair in nuclear engineering, the entire motor will be replaced after 2 years.
According to the using experience of vertical sealed bearings, in this environment, normal bearings generally need to be regreased once every 6 months. If not, the bearings will soon fail due to deformation of the rings, lack of oil, grease failure, etc., and the motor will soon fail. This type of bearing operates in a sealed environment. The main difficulty is that at such high ambient temperature, ordinary bearing steel cannot meet the 2-year service life requirement; In the bearing industry, it is also very difficult to ensure that the lubricating grease does not leak within two years when the bearings are installed vertically; Moreover, the lifespan of radiation resistant greases in such high temperature environments is also a difficult issue. In consideration of above difficulties, we have done a lot of simulation analysis before developing this bearing, and have made sufficient preparations from early theoretical calculations to various stages of testing. Finally, Anrui successfully developed a special nuclear motor bearing for this working condition. According to the actual working condition, the life test results are relatively ideal, with life of 56785 hours, fully meeting customer requirements.
